.enc in any browser.Your readers don't have to install anything. They can drag a .enc protected file straight into the Reader Web page and view it in the browser, with the same access controls, dynamic watermarks, view limits, IP restrictions, and hidden pages you configured in Control.
Works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPad and Android, in any modern browser. The encryption never leaves the server, the watermark is baked into the rendered pages, and the same .enc file works in both the Reader Web and the Reader Desktop — there is no separate file format.
Important: printing is only available in the Reader Desktop. The Reader Web is view-only by design.
